Amos Waites Park -- The Lakeside Parks of South Etobicoke III

Amos Waites Park is a charming waterfront park located right at the foot of Mimico Ave. on the south side of Lake Shore Blvd.

It is connected to the waterfront bike and pedestrian trail and has a new and terrific playground for the kids. It is also blessed with some truly lovely views of the lake, a small island made by the city, and a nearby marina.

With some excellent nearby coffee shops and restaurants (such as Maurya which is one of Toronto's best roti joints and which is literally less than a minute walk from Amos Waites) and lots of benches, picnic tables and rocks to sit on, it is also a perfect spot to enjoy a drink or meal outdoors.

Amos Waites is on the 501 Queen streetcar line and on the 76 Royal York South bus route.

  1. Renting a pontoon boat from Sunnyside Marina for a day out on Lake Tahoe was an absolute game-changer for our family vacation last summer. The convenience of booking online and the friendly staff made the experience seamless. Plus, the pontoon itself was in excellent condition and spacious enough for our whole group. Cruising along the crystal-clear waters of Lake Tahoe with the stunning mountain backdrop is an experience I'll cherish forever. Can't wait to do it all over again this year!
